Transporting your prize

OPTIONS FOR TRANSPORTING YOUR PRIZE IF YOU WISH TO CONTINUE RIDING AND/OR RODE YOUR BIKE TO THE EVENT AND CAN'T CARRY THE PRIZE WITH YOU:  If you choose a small (portable) prize, you may be able to wear it (such as a poncho, gloves, or ear-warmer band), attach it to your bike (such as a water bottle), or put it in your pocket (such as a gift card).   There will be ziplock and grocery plastic bags to put paper gift cards and other prizes in so they don’t get sweaty in your jersey or wet if you choose to hang them from your handle bar and ride with them.  We reserve the right to refuse to allow you to carry awkward or heavy prizes on your bike if we deem it unsafe, for liability reasons.   For prizes that are larger, if you bring your automobile to the event you can put it in your vehicle, but for those who rode their bikes to the event, we can drop your prize off at a local bike shop in Utah County close to your home or work place so you won’t have to carry it on the bike.   We will have tags that you can write the zip code you live or work in and your name and phone number and we will text or call you to tell you where and when your prize can be picked up and you will have 30 days to pick up the prize.  All prizes not picked up within 30 days will be donated back to the bike shops holding them, who may donate the prizes back to the UCS to be used at a future event.
